Steel Lifeline

Mine Lifeline introduced the industry’s first steel lifeline in 2006 and has been “Leading the Way... Out” since then. With a breaking strength of over 2,000 pounds, our cable will be there when others fail. D.O.T. quality optics provide the most reflective lifeline available. Other smart features such as our exclusive red “X”, threaded ends, integrated swivel handles, and storage inside the spool keep us one step ahead of the competition

Duracomm Signal Cable

Mine Lifeline introduced Duracomm, another industry first in 2006. This MSHA approved, steel core, 2 conductor signal cable has a flame resistant outer jacket and doubles as a lifeline cable. Weather proof, automotive style connectors join the rolls eliminating any need for splicing. Both functional and durable, Duracomm is two products in one. It provides reliable 12 volt communications on a daily basis while being tough enough to depend on for escape. D.O.T. quality optics provide the most reflective lifeline available. Our Duracomm kits feature the same high quality components and smart features used in our steel versions.

Poly Lifeline

For those who prefer the lighter weight and flexibility of poly rope, Mine Lifeline now has an MSHA approved, polypropylene lifeline cable. Our poly kits feature the same high quality components and smart features used in our steel versions. Available with your choice of reflective cones installed every 25’ (cones only) or 50’ (with reflectors).

Intelligent Design

We utilize a hinged, swivel type connector to secure reflectors on the lifeline cable for maximum performance.  As a result, reflectors maintain their vertical and perpendicular orientation relative to the cable.  This feature optimizes reflectivity and provides a visual, directional indicator.  The designated color will be seen when traveling in the direction of escape and a red "X" in the wrong direction.

Unbeatable Quality

Our high strength, reflective lens outperforms and outlasts vinyl streamers.  Test have shown up to 6 times more reflectivity compared to vinyl.  The rigid structure prevents twisting and flapping in high ventilation areas.  They are available in 5 brilliant colors with reflective red "X" backer.  Non-reflective white backer is available by request.

Lifeline Hangers

Coil

Steel coils are an excellent choice for break-away systems or when variable height is desired.

Extension

Extensions can be used to drop the lifeline to a reachable height in a fixed installation system.

Standard

Standard hangers attached the lifeline 3.5" below the roof.  This is a good choice when the roof is within reach.
